Industrial - Factory Refurbishment
Work began in 2016 with the full strip out and decommissioning of an existing production facility within the factory. We then worked very closely with the client, main contractor and various specialists to install a full new production facility.
We installed temporary lighting, small power, hoist supplies etc. The main scope of work was extensive and included new containment, control panels and wiring. New switch gear, distribution equipment and submains. New lighting and door access throughout the facility.
This project meant a significant loss of production space to our client. As such, this project had a relatively short programme. We frequently had twelve engineers working on this project. It was delivered ahead of programme and below budget. Costs were reduced as distribution equipment was redesigned through consultation with the client. The resulting savings were passed on.
Our next project for them is starting in spring 2018
